The Clothing Closet of Skyline Baptist Church mission is three-fold and are as follows:

n      1. To support the overall mission of the church in any capacity.

n      2. To provide for the needs of the community at-large, Skyline church members as well as the faith community.

n      3. To be ever mindful of our commitment to service, compassion and respect for those in need, appreciation of our donors and volunteers, and many blessings bestowed upon us through God's grace.

Purpose

n      Clothing Closet Ministry will provide clothing, linens and encouragement to men, women and children in need.

n      The clothing closet is a non-profit outreach ministry created to provide clothing, linens and encouragement at no cost regardless of Race, Religion, or Age.

Our Scripture reference (King James version):               Matthew 25:34-36

“ 34Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the

 foundation of the world: 35For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took

me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

Requests to receive clothes or bedding from this ministry may be directed to the Team Leader, Jan Nielsen, or to the church office by emailing Jan at sbccloset@aol.com or the church at skyline@sbcelpaso.org.  A request form will need to be filled out and every confidence will be maintained as to the identity and personal information of the one(s) requesting this ministry assistance.
