Skyline Baptist Church is honored to be a host site for Angel Food Ministries.  This non-profit ministry allows you to purchase quality foods at greatly discounted prices.  In August of 2010 the price of their Signature Box was lowered from $30.00 to $29.00.  It is still designed to feed a family of four for one week and would retail for about $50-65.00.  There are no income requirements to order and no limit to the number of food boxes you may purchase.  We are set to receive both Texas and New Mexico Food Stamps as well as cash, credit and debit cards.  Food Stamps and cash orders must be made at the church office.  Credit and Debit Card purchases may be made online during the ordering period by clicking on the Angel Food Ministries logo on our home page.  You will be taken to Skyline's ordering page on the Angel Food Ministry Website.  Just click on the button to begin the online order process.  Please be aware they will charge you a $2.00 convenience fee each time you order, so please order all the items you wish to purchase at one time.

Distribution time each month is between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m.   Customers are encouraged to pick up their orders as early as possible to minimize the time food is not refrigerated and to reduce the likelihood of frozen items beginning to thaw.

Orders for August 2010 may be placed online (debit or credit purchases only) through 9:59 p.m. Sunday August 22, or in the church office (all purchase types including Food Stamps) through Thursday, August 19th as the church office is closed Fridays and Saturdays.  If you need to purchase with food stamps but do not receive your monthly allotment until late in the 20th or 21st, please call the church at 755-0777 to make special arrangements.   Distribution will be on Saturday, August 28th at the regular time.
